Kiena Williams

Associate Conductor

Kiena Williams is one of the newest additions to the Brooklyn Youth Chorus artistic staff as an Associate conductor of the PS 15 Prep program and the Pre-Teen Level 3. She joined the Brooklyn Youth Chorus team as a Chorus Manager in the Training Divisions in 2015. She is now Chorus Manager of the Men’s Training Division, Pre-Teen Level 3, and Junior Ensemble.

Kiena is a singer and conductor born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She is a young artist whose diverse musical background pools from a number of influences. Having received her B.A. from Penn State University in music, Kiena has traveled nationally and internationally as a featured soloist and chorister.

She served as Department head of the Arts program at Camp Matoaka for Girls in Smithfield, ME for 4 summers. There, she has provided vocal instruction, choreographed and assistant directed over 10 fully staged musicals with young girls aged 8-15. Her position as chorus manager and co-conductor at Brooklyn Youth Chorus has provided her with an immense amount of joy and reconnected her love for education and choral music.
