Concert Ensemble

The Concert Ensemble is the Grammy Award-winning flagship ensemble of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, comprising singers ages 12-18.

They consistently work with professional musicians, major orchestras, and renowned artists on groundbreaking projects and performances. Recent collaborations include work with the New York Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, The National, David Byrne, and Bon Iver. The chorus has also been featured on The Today Show, graced the stage at Carnegie Hall, and lent their voices to acclaimed concerts like The Lord of the Rings and Music from Studio Ghibli.

The Concert Ensemble regularly participates in the creation of new works, collaborating with composers and pushing the boundaries of choral music. They also frequently engage in recording projects, contributing to albums, soundtracks, and other media.

    Performing Ensembles perform in a wide variety of settings throughout the year, including concerts, recording projects, special events, and original productions.

  • Concert Ensemble - Meets three times a week for 2+ hours.

    • Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:00-7:15pm (179 Pacific Street) 

  • Approximately $197 per month.

    Tuition amounts vary depending on age group and time commitment. Students joining for the second semester, starting each January pay prorated tuition.

  • We offer flexible payment plans and need-based financial aid. Tuition can be paid annually or in installments. Don't hesitate to apply if you need financial assistance - we are committed to making our program accessible to all!
