Kristopher Burke

Program Director and Conductor

Kristopher Burke first joined the staff of Brooklyn Youth Chorus in 2011 as a chorus manager. He now conducts the Men’s Ensemble and Men’s Training Division and is School Administrator.

Honored to be a part of Brooklyn Youth Chorus, Mr. Burke is especially proud of his work with the Men’s Ensemble. While under his direction, the Men’s Ensemble has performed at the United States Capitol Building, the National Hispanic Caucus’s Annual Awards Gala, and at Kings Theatre.   

Mr. Burke received his B.M. in Music Education from Shepherd University and a M.M. in Vocal Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory. He has also studied with conductor Rudolph Palmer and voice teachers Barbra Stenger and Dr. Byron Jones.
